Original Review (Shared Exactly as Written)

A big thank you to the breathe bhutan team! Bhutan has left my friend and I with one of the most unforgettable experience of our lives. From warm locals to activities like rafting, archery to untouched nature and delicious homecooked meals, there’s so much bhutan has to offer.

The people who made this experience so unique were our guide & driver: Kelzang and Kinley. While it was only 7 days, both of them had given us a taste of what Bhutanese warmth truly meant.

Kelzang didn’t just play the role of being a messenger of the richness that Bhutan had to offer, his inborn good-naturedness made it feel like we were hanging out with a friend. He is all-rounded, knowledgeable and open to sharing about all things Bhutan. That enabled us to see this country through the most authentic, unfiltered lens.

Kinley, our driver, had gone beyond the mile in all ways one can imagine. From cleaning our shoes as they got muddy to tidying the car so often to make our ride comfortable, always making sure there’s bottles of water prepped and being a complementary partner to Kelzang in taking care of us, Kinley’s kindness and attentiveness has definitely not gone unnoticed!

Another key experience was the homestay at Ama Om’s. To anybody who is looking for an authentic local experience, ama om and her family are full of kind souls who are so welcoming.

We left Bhutan feeling really warm and are looking forward to our next visit to Bhutan again
