Breathe Bhutan gave us an immersive experience into a beautiful country filled with breathtaking scenery, friendly people and captivating culture.For our one-week visit in mid-May, Breathe Bhutan gave us a customised tour itinerary that allowed us to stay overnight in a monastery, hike in places less travelled, and beat the crowd in tourist sites. The staff took great care in our wellbeing, replying to our requests promptly and ensuring that our needs were always met.On the ground, tour guide Rattu was an excellent hiking guide, and regaled us with tales of Bhutanese folklore and Buddhist teachings during our visits to temples and dzongs. He also captured moments of our trip perfectly with his camera. Driver Jigme ensured that we got to our destinations safely, and kept us entertained with jokes. He also showed his mastery of the bow during our archery sessions, and taught us how to use the hunting bow effectively. They were the perfect companions for our tour.
