Introduction
The Global Gross National Happiness (GNH) Forum represents a landmark initiative in global dialogue, leadership, and sustainable development. Organized by the GNH Centre Bhutan under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Kesang Chodren Wangchuck, the Forum will convene from 7–12 November 2025 at the historic Dungkhar Dzong in Paro, Bhutan.
This inaugural event commemorates the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, the visionary architect of Bhutan’s unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness—a development model grounded in balance, ethics, and holistic wellbeing.
Purpose of the Forum
The Forum seeks to establish a transformative global tradition, one that positions happiness, cultural integrity, and environmental harmony at the center of human progress. By convening policymakers, entrepreneurs, scholars, philanthropists, and young changemakers, the event fosters high-level dialogue on advancing wellbeing, equity, and sustainability in the 21st century.
