I did a 1 week tour with Breathe Bhutan two weeks ago and it was definitely a one of a kind experience.I started my inquiry just one month before the trip, and team was very quick and responsive. They crafted an itinerary and suited my interests and ability. They gave wonderful recommendations for the accommodations and activities. And I loved how they had an option for a credit card payment.It was all hassle-free because they would even book your flights and process your visa for you. And will provide you a detailed guide before your trip.I wasn’t in my best shape when I arrived in Bhutan but my guide made sure to adjust my itinerary based on what my body can handle.

The accommodations were on a different level though, that it ended up as the highlight of my trip. I would always find myself getting super excited every time we arrive at a new accommodation. Homestay, eco lodge, a tent??? It was amazing!What made the whole trip perfect though was my guide Sonam, and my driver Uncle Wangchuk. From the moment I met them at the airport arrivals, up until sending me to the departures seven days later, it was all perfect.Wangchuk made sure I start my days with a heart full of gratitude and laughter and has always driven safely to our destinations.Sonam was very knowledgeable, and insightful. And since I was travelling solo, he sees to it that I’m comfortable and enjoying my trip. While a whole itinerary was already drafted, he would always ask me first if there’s anything else that I wanted to do which I truly appreciated. I think what sets Sonam apart was his willingness to help other tourists who had a bit of trouble.

Overall, Breathe Bhutan didn’t feel like an agency who is just all about the transactions and fees. They made me feel like I was just planning a trip with a family that lives in Bhutan – and it was exactly how they treated me the whole time.Literally Breathe Bhutan, as you could just take a breathe and relax for they will take care of every thing you need and every thing that you might like 😉
