The products in the 80 stalls cover all aspects of traditional Bhutanese arts and crafts, synergized for contemporary use and market needs. Over and above being mesmerized by the explosion of vibrant colors on display, you are sure to come across an interesting assortment of genuine Bhutanese handicrafts and textiles available at very reasonable rates. All the products are sourced mostly from rural areas as the Bazaar aims to promote the local arts and crafts industry by creating a viable market, which in turn contributes to preserving and promote Bhutan’s unique culture. Though some items may have been improvised to cater to market demands and others tailored for modern touch, most forms still remain unaltered. There is no other place more suited to enable you to gain valuable insight into the arts and crafts of Bhutan.
