(The museum was established with artifacts found in the manor that had been handed down from generation to generation through the ages. The artifacts depicting the way of life back in the hallowed days of antiquity are recreated in the original rooms of the central tower. Granaries, agricultural implements, kitchen, brewery, reception rooms, bedroom, caravan and trade room, textiles, religious dances costumes and masks room, library and printing-room are recreated in the most original manner. The setting, in its totality, gives rise to the intimate feeling of stepping into a bygone way of life and touching the social, religious, and economic facets of a Bhutanese manor in the days of antiquity. It was set-up with the hope of sharing the heritage with as many people as possible and preserving the structure as a religious and social hub. It truly is a labour of love and beautiful testament to a life which has all but disappeared.)
